- interact with key people and key organizations in Washington, DC (from the State Department and the U.S. Congress, to Muslim human rights leaders and Al Jazeera journalists) who focus on key issues in the Muslim world;
- travel to Egypt and Jordan for three weeks with your class to see some of the world's greatest ancient wonders and Islamic art and architecture today, meet with civil society and government groups, come face to face with real world challenges abroad, and experience different cultures first hand;
